Former Worcester Red Sox Pitcher, Raynel Espinal who elected minor-league free agency from the Red Sox organization in November, has inked a deal with the Giants.
Espinal, made his MLB debut in the 2021 season with the Boston Red Sox, pitching one inning against the Tampa Bay Rays on August 30.
The 30-year-old right-hander spent six seasons in New York’s farm system before joining Triple-A Worcester in 2021 and going 11-4 with a 3.44 ERA in 23 games.
