At the Christl Arena in West Point, New York Gerrale Gates helped lead the Holy Cross Crusaders to their third straight win. The Crusaders beat Army 69-65 and in the 38 minutes that Gates played, he scored 23 points, had 10 rebounds and 3 assists.
Kyrell Luc, the freshman Crusader from Dorchester scored 16 points, had 6 rebounds and 2 assists. On Monday night, back in his hometown against Boston University, it was Luc who helped lead the Crusaders to a 75-70 win scoring 24 points.
Bo Montgomery scored 12 points and had 3 rebounds. Judson Martindale had 9 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists. Dajon Humphrey had 8 points and 2 rebounds. Malcolm Townsel had one point, two rebounds and one assist.
The Crusaders will head to Hamilton, New York on Monday for a matchup with Colgate and will be back at the Hart Rec Center on Wednesday for a matchup with
Loyola-Maryland.
