Police in Providence, Rhode Island responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Ring Street.
The shooting was around 2 p.m. Saturday and one person, a 31-year-old male was shot. He was taken to an area hospital and is in stable condition.
Police are investigating the incident and have not made any arrests.
