Roxbury Traffic Stop Leads To Recovery Of A Loaded Firearm And Two Arrested

Earlier this morning officers with the Boston Police Department while on patrol in the area of Waverly Street in Roxbury observed a vehicle with heavily tinted windows. Officers ran through the vehicle registration with CJIS and we’re informed that the vehicle had no current or valid inspection sticker.

With the information that officers had, they conducted a traffic stop and during which they recovered a firearm with one round in the chamber and fourteen rounds in the magazine.

Both occupants of the vehicle, Bereky Edouard, 22, of Medford and Raymond Gregory, Jr., 27, of Everett were arrested.

Edouard was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition and Possession with Intent to Distribute Class D Drugs.

Gregory was charged with Failure to Stop for a Police Officer.
