Road Rage Incident In South Boston Ends With Suspect Arrested On Drugs And Firearms Charges

Earlier Saturday morning officers with the Boston Police Department assigned to C-6 responded to the area of Story Street and G Street in South Boston for a report of a road rage incident involving a person with a gun.

The suspect who has been identified as Aidan Fittz, 19, of Charlestown, allegedly pulled out a firearm after the victim honked his horn at the vehicle for driving up W 2nd Street the wrong way. 

Fittz eventually was located in the area of Story Street and G Street and after conducting a traffic stop, officers recovered a  firearm with one round in the chamber and nine rounds in the magazine. 

Additionally, officers recovered seven individually wrapped plastic bags containing a white powdery substance believed to be cocaine inside of a prescription bottle. 

Fittz was arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Possession of Class B, Drugs.
