Massachusetts State Police Investigating Early Morning Fatal Crash

Massachusetts State Police this morning responded to reports of a single vehicle crash on Route 495 southbound at mile marker 33 in Mansfield.
MSP says that “A 2009 Lexus sedan that, for reasons still under investigation, left the roadway and crashed into a tree.”
The operator of the vehicle has not yet been identified but MSP has confirmed that the operator a male, 39, from Rumford, R.I. and was declared deceased on scene by paramedics.
