The Patriots Sunday, claimed their third straight win beating the Carolina Panthers 24-6. It is the 5th win this season for the Patriots as rookie QB, Mac Jones is starting to show just how much grit he truly has.
In the second quarter is when the Patriots came to life in this game with Harris and Henry both catching passes from Jones and getting the two touchdowns that the Patriots needed to close the second quarter 14-6 against the Panthers who had just a TD and a field goal.
In the third quarter, J.C. Jackson had a big interception and then took it 88 yards for a TD. Folk made a 37 yard field goal and the at the end of the third quarter it was 24-6 Patriots lead.
The Patriots defense held firm Sunday which limited the Panthers offense who showed no sign of life on the clock in much of this contest. Jackson had two interceptions and one TD while Collins had one interception.
The Patriots will close the book on week nine with three straight wins for rookie QB Mac Jones. Next week, week ten the Patriots will return home to Gillette Stadium and host the Cleveland Browns.
