The Atlanta Braves came to Houston Tuesday night attempting to clinch their first World Series championship since 1995 and they successful did just that, by claiming a 7-0 win against the Houston Astros in game six of the World Series.
After two scoreless innings Atlanta Braves’ Jorge Soler got things rolling at the top of the third, hitting an 83mph cutter 446 feet deep left out of the park and over the tracks for the first homer of the night and drive in both Albies and Rosario to make it a 3-0 Braves game.
At the top of the 5th, Swanson hit the second homer of the night for the Braves and that drove in Albies to make it a 5-0 Braves game.
Also in the bottom of the 5th, Freeman hit a double deep left and Soler scored to make it a 6-0 Braves game.
At the top of the 7th, Freeman hit an 89mph splitter to center and got a solo homer to make it a 7-0 Braves game.
