Monday, the Worcester Red Sox and City of Worcester had a ribbon cutting and unveiling of the new Summit Street pedestrian corridor.
This new pedestrian corridor completes what the Worcester Red Sox are calling the “WooSox Loop.”
The “WooSox Loop” is a 0.4 miles path around Polar Park which allows fans to walk the inside of the park in a complete circuit.
The new Summit Street pedestrian corridor will feature a mural featuring historic Canal District personalities.
It will also include the following:

“Beantown Betty,” a veteran Duckboat from Boston’s many World Championships.

A Taste of Worcester

and the new Summit Street Ticket Office.
