Red Sox Make Roster Moves Ahead Of Final Homestand

As the Worcester Red Sox take Monday and Tuesday off this week before playing their final homestand, it was released Monday night that the Red Sox have made some roster moves.

The following players have been moved from Double-A Portland to Triple-A Worcester:

First baseman Triston Casas

RHP Josh Winckowski

Catcher Ronaldo Hernandez

The following players been moved from Worcester to Portland:

RHP Jose Adames

RHP Seth Blair

INF Jeremy Rivera

OF Joey Meneses

The Sea Dogs season just ended on Sunday.

The Red Sox also announced Monday night that LHP Alex Claudio, has been released while the WooSox have placed catcher Chris Herrmann on the 7-day injured list (retroactive to September 19) with right wrist inflammation.
