Preseason football on Sunday, the Patriots played the Giants and ended preseason football with a 22-20 win.
In the first quarter with 10:07 on the clock, Nick Folk Made a 41 yards field goal to make it a 3-0, Patriots lead.
In the second quarter, with 6:58 on the clock, Quinn Nordin made a 48 yards field goal to make it 6-0, Patriots lead.
As the clock in the second quarter came down to the final seconds, the Giants made their move with Daniel Jones connecting with Kaden Smith for a 23 yards TD. The extra point by Graham Gano was good to make it a 6-7, Giants lead.
The Patriots came into the third quarter fired up and with 12:11 on the clock Mac Jones connected with Isaiah Zuber for a 17 yards TD. The two-point conversion attempt failed and it was a 12-7, Patriots game.
With 9:09 on the clock in the third quarter, Rhamondre Stevenson had a 9 yards rushing TD. The extra point attempt by Quinn Nordin was good and it was a 19-7, Patriots lead.
In the fourth quarter, with 12:55 on the clock, Mike Glennon connected with Alex Bachman for a 12 yards. Extra point was good to make it a 19-14, Patriots lead.
With 6:28 remaining on the clock in the fourth, Quinn Nordin Made a 37 yards field goal to make it a 22-14, Patriots lead.
In the final seventeen seconds of the fourth quarter of the game, Mike Glennon connected with Damion Willis for a 43 yards TD to make it a 22-20, Patriots game.
The Patriots now have two weeks to get ready for the kickoff of the 2021 season and they will do that against Miami.
