WooSox Returning Home After 6 Games Against IronPigs, Ready To Play 6 Games Against Rochester Red Wings

The WooSox had Monday off after just playing a six game stretch against the Lehigh Valley IronPigs. In that six game stretch which started last Tuesday, the WooSox lost game one (6-5) on Tuesday and they lost game two (6-0) on Wednesday. On Thursday night the WooSox turned things around and won game three (9-2). Friday night’s game was postponed due to weather. On Saturday, the WooSox played a doubleheader and they won the first game (4-2) and game two they won (4-2). On Sunday, the WooSox wrapped up their six game stretch against the IronPigs, winning the game 2-0 and winning the stretch 4-2.

The WooSox are now 15-9 and in second place in the Triple-A East. They return back to Polar Park on Tuesday night at 6:35 pm to begin a 6-game homestand against the Rochester Red Wings.

Starting Tuesday, as the WooSox return home, they have announced that masks will no longer be required for fully vaccinated fans. Also, Polar Park will be allowed to open at 100% capacity with what areas of the ballpark are currently open.
