Beginning Monday in Massachusetts, residents 16 and older will become eligible to book their COVID-19 vaccine.
1.7 million people in the commonwealth will now be eligible for the vaccines However Gov. Charlie Baker says it could take weeks to get everyone their shot.
Residents of the commonwealth can go online and book their spot at a mass vaccination site by pre-registering on the state’s website.
In addition the commonwealth now has four regional collaboratives that have been added to the preregistration system and they in Northboro, West Springfield, Palmer and Northampton.
Also starting Monday, in New Hampshire they are dropping their residency requirement for the vaccine, meaning a Mass. residents could get vaccinated across the state line.
