It seems like it was just yesterday that Gov. Charlie Baker appointed Col. Kerry Gilpin to take over the Mass State Police but actually, it has now been two years since that November day in 2017.
Gilpin took over the Mass State Police after Col. Richard McKeon who ordered a Trooper to scrub an arrest report involving Judge Timothy Bibaud’s daughter, retired.
With just 25 years on the job, graduating from the Mass State Police Academy in 1994, Gilpin has announced that she will be retiring next week on November 15.
