Bourne – A 76-year-old man was in critical condition Sunday after suffering an apparent stab wound at the Bourne nursing facility where he lives, according to police.
Police officers and firefighters responded to the facility shortly before 8 a.am. on Nov. 1. The resident’s injuries were life-threatening, and a medical helicopter flew him to an out-of-state trauma center for treatment.
Bourne police said their initial findings suggest the wound was self-inflicted. The investigation remains open
