BALDWIN, N.Y. — A 27-year-old Hempstead woman who worked at a learning and play center has been arrested after police allege she inappropriately touched two male juveniles while working at the facility.

Asia Oliver was arrested in connection with an incident that Nassau County Police said occurred at approximately noon Wednesday, July 1, at the Learn and Play Center, located at 2163 Grand Avenue in Baldwin.

According to detectives with the Special Victims Squad, Oliver was employed by the center at the time of the alleged incident.

Police allege that while working, Oliver inappropriately touched two male juveniles.

She was arrested without incident.

Oliver is charged with first-degree sexual abuse, second-degree sexual abuse and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

She was scheduled to be arraigned Friday, Aug. 14, at First District Court in Hempstead.

As the investigation continues, detectives are asking anyone who believes they may have been the victim of a similar incident to come forward.
