SCHENECTADY, N.Y. — New York State Police are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that claimed the life of a 29-year-old man Tuesday morning on Interstate 890 in Schenectady.
State Police responded at approximately 6:20 a.m. on Aug. 4 to a report of a one-vehicle crash on Interstate 890 westbound near the Exit 6 off-ramp in the City of Schenectady.
According to the preliminary investigation, Miguel Alejandro Mendoza Canarte, 29, of Shandaken, was driving a 2022 Nissan Altima westbound when, for reasons that remain under investigation, the vehicle left the roadway.
