A crash in Shrewsbury has forced the closure of a busy stretch of Route 20, causing significant traffic disruptions in the area.
The incident occurred between Hartford Turnpike and Boston–Worcester Turnpike, where emergency crews responded to the scene. Due to the severity of the crash and ongoing response efforts, Route 20 has been shut down between those two roadways.
First responders are currently on scene working to manage the situation, assist those involved, and clear the roadway. The extent of any injuries has not been confirmed at this time.
Motorists are urged to avoid the area and seek alternate routes as delays are expected.
