Methuen – On April 2, members of the Methuen Police Street Crimes Unit were investigating suspected street-level drug activity in the area of Sycamore Street and Stadium Road.
As a result of that investigation, officers arrested Santo Domingo Vizcaino, 27, on charges of Trafficking in Fentanyl (36 grams or more) and Possession with Intent to Distribute a Class B substance.
According to police, Vizcaino was allegedly found in possession of:
- 36 grams of powdered fentanyl
- 13 grams of fentanyl pills
- 12.3 grams of crack cocaine
Methuen Police credited the Street Crimes Unit for its proactive enforcement efforts, noting that the unit’s work continues to have a strong impact on drug-related activity in the community.
