BOSTON, MA — Officers from the Boston Police Department continued their community outreach efforts with a special visit to a local classroom.
Members of the Bureau of Community Engagement spent time with a kindergarten class at the Blackstone School in the South End, joining visitors from across the city for a day focused on reading and connection.
Officers read alongside students, helping create a fun, engaging, and memorable experience for everyone involved.
Events like this highlight the importance of positive relationships between police and the communities they serve — starting at a young age.
