Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Serves: 4

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup snap peas
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (for sauce)
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Cooked rice or noodles, for serving
  • Sesame seeds and green onions, for garnish

Instructions
In a bowl, toss beef with 2 tablespoons soy sauce and cornstarch. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add beef and cook 2–3 minutes until browned; remove and set aside. Add garlic, ginger, and vegetables to the skillet and stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until crisp-tender. Return beef to the pan. Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil, coating everything evenly. Serve over rice or noodles, garnished with sesame seeds and green onions.

Tips
Cut vegetables uniformly for even cooking. Swap beef for chicken, pork, or tofu for a different protein option. For extra heat, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or drizzle with sriracha before serving.
