SWANSEA, MA — At 6 A.M., officers responded to Pamela Drive to assist the State Police Cyber Crimes Unit and Special Tactics and Operations Team (STOP) execute a warrant which stemmed from the Cyber Crimes Unit after an investigation was conducted into allegations that the homeowner had child pornography.
After the execution of the warrant, a 39-year-old Swansea resident, authorities identified as Bryan Golden, was taken into custody without incident.
Swansea detectives reported locating and seizing five firearms inside the residence. The firearms included multiple rifles of varying makers and models, police say.
Golden was arrested by State Police and charged with possession of child pornography. Swansea detectives obtained an additional search warrant, charging him with possession of a large-capacity firearm, two counts of possession of a firearm without a firearms identification card, and a firearm violation following a prior violent crime conviction.
He is scheduled to be arraigned in Fall River District Court.
The charges are allegations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
