Warwick, Rhode Island – At approximately 1:29 a.m. ET on Tuesday, troopers of the Wickford Barracks were conducting a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in Warwick.
During the motor vehicle stop, troopers placed Shackiellia Pridgen, age 36, of Providence under arrest on charges of:
- Driving Under the Influence of Liquor/Drugs – BAC Unknown – First Offense
- Refusal to Submit a Chemical Test
Pridgen was transported to the State Police Barracks in Wickford, where she was booked and arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released to the custody of a responsible adult with a notice to appear in Third Division District Court.
All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
