Top-ranked Connecticut rolled at home and several ranked matchups and overtime games highlighted a busy slate of women’s college basketball on Monday night.
No. 1 Connecticut overwhelmed Notre Dame 85-47 as Sarah Strong scored 18 points. Hannah Hidalgo led Notre Dame with 16 points.
No. 5 Vanderbilt edged No. 7 Michigan 72-69 behind 20 points from Aubrey Galvan. Kendall Dudley scored 16 points for Michigan.
No. 12 Ohio State slipped past No. 9 TCU 71-69 with Chance Gray scoring 22 points. Olivia Miles finished with 24 points for TCU.
No. 20 Princeton outlasted Harvard 82-79 in overtime as Ashley Chea scored 19 points. Karlee White led Harvard with 27 points.
Mount St. Mary’s defeated Niagara 62-49 behind 14 points from Giana Hoddinott. Talia Dial scored 11 points for Niagara.
Seattle Pacific beat Iona 63-57 as Carys Roy scored 16 points. Isabellah Middleton led Iona with 26 points.
Penn defeated Dartmouth 67-59 with Tina Njike scoring 16 points. Alexandra Eldredge also scored 16 points for Dartmouth.
Yale beat Cornell 58-43 as Ciniya Moore scored 18 points. Clarke Jackson led Cornell with 21 points.
Columbia defeated Brown 68-52 behind 15 points from Riley Weiss. Grace Arnolie scored 21 points for Brown.
Fairleigh Dickinson routed Siena 86-50 as Kaety L’Amoreaux scored 26 points. Francesca Schiro led Siena with 17 points.
Quinnipiac defeated Merrimack 75-61 behind 18 points from Karson Martin. Joi Williams scored 19 points for Merrimack.
Sacred Heart edged Marist 56-54 as Nalyce Dudley scored 21 points. Lexie Tarul led Marist with 12 points.
Alabama A&M defeated Alabama State 50-41 with Kalia Walker scoring 15 points. Clearia Peterson finished with 14 points for Alabama State.
Montana defeated Northern Arizona 76-72 as Jocelyn Land scored 20 points. Naomi White led Northern Arizona with 29 points.
