This Halloween, Worcester’s hottest ticket isn’t a haunted house — it’s the Lakeview show at Off The Rails, where country fans are gearing up for a night of southern grit, loud guitars, and one heck of a costume contest. The Pittsburgh-born, Nashville-based duo is throwing down a full-blown country rock bash with help from Jack Daniel’s, who’s hosting a pre-party honky tonk before Lakeview hits the stage.
Fans are invited to show off their best Halloween looks, with the band itself judging the costumes and handing out prizes. First place scores a $100 Lakeview merch pack, second place walks away with a Jack Daniel’s swag pack, and third place takes home some Off The Rails gear. The pre-party kicks off at 5 p.m. and is free to attend — but anyone hoping to compete in the costume contest will need a ticket to the show.
Musician Chris Shelby will keep the energy high during the Jack Daniel’s pre-party before Lakeview takes over with their hard-driving blend of metalcore edge and country storytelling. Formed in the suburbs of Pittsburgh in 2014, members Jesse Denaro and Luke Healy relocated to Nashville in 2019, carving out a sound that turns country music into a full-on rock experience.
Lakeview dropped its self-titled debut album in September 2024, featuring tracks like “Home Team,” “Money Where Your Mouth Is,” and “Son of A.” The release pushed them into the national spotlight, landing them opening slots for Daughtry, Staind, and Breaking Benjamin. Their latest single, “Name In A Song,” came out in August, adding to the momentum that’s carried them from small-town stages to national tours.
General admission tickets are still available, though reserved table seating has already sold out. VIP tickets are also on sale, giving fans early access, a signed item, a photo opportunity, and a Q&A session with the band. Tickets can be purchased online.
Off The Rails, located at 90 Commercial Street in downtown Worcester, has quickly become Central Massachusetts’ go-to destination for live country music. The venue serves up southern BBQ and a full bar with 20 beers on tap before the doors open to its 4,200-square-foot Nashville-style stage — the perfect place to dance off a whiskey or two.
