Eagles defensive tackle Jalen Carter won’t lose any time on the field after being slapped with a one-game suspension for unsportsmanlike conduct in last Thursday’s showdown with the Cowboys.
Carter was tossed before taking a single snap, meaning the suspension counted as served in Week 1. He’ll forfeit his game check but is eligible to suit up when Philly faces the Chiefs in Week 2.
The NFLPA told the league Carter won’t fight the punishment and waived his right to appeal.
The NFL has made it clear it’s cracking down on unsportsmanlike conduct this season, stressing sportsmanship as a point of emphasis across the league.
