Worcester Police say a city man was arrested after officers caught him in the middle of a drug deal on Main Street.
Around 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2025, officers said they saw 25-year-old Devonte James pull a plastic bag from his sock and hand it to another man in exchange for cash.
When police approached, James was reportedly reaching back toward his sock. Officers searched him and found a plastic bag filled with crack cocaine.
James was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute a Class B substance.
