Brattleboro, Vermont Man Cited for Driving Without License and Ignition Interlock Device in Stamford

STAMFORD, Vt. (August 16, 2025) — Vermont State Police conducted a traffic stop on Main Road in Stamford on August 16 at approximately 2:39 PM, resulting in a citation for Scott Sanderson, 38, of Brattleboro.
Sanderson was found operating a vehicle without a valid driver’s license following a prior conviction and without the required ignition interlock device. His vehicle was towed by Heartwellville Service Center.
He is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Bennington Criminal Division, on September 29, 2025, at 8:30 AM to answer to the charges.
