VERNON, Vt. — A Brattleboro man is facing multiple charges following a reported family fight in Vernon on Wednesday evening.

Vermont State Police from the Westminster Barracks responded to a residence on Fort Bridgman Road at approximately 6:55 p.m. on July 23 for a report of a domestic disturbance. According to police, an investigation determined that 29-year-old Kyle N. Shippee had assaulted a family member, caused damage to a vehicle, and violated court-ordered conditions of release.

Shippee was cited to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division, on Thursday, July 24 at 12:30 p.m. to face charges of domestic assault, unlawful mischief, and violation of conditions of release.

No bail was set, and Shippee was not lodged following the incident.
