Fall River, MA — A 21-year-old Fall River man is facing charges after police recovered an AK-47 rifle and ammunition during a court-authorized search of his residence.
On July 15, 2025, Fall River Police executed a search warrant at 1977 Rodman Street, second floor, targeting Keith Goncalo, who was suspected of unlawfully possessing a high-powered firearm.
Detectives conducted surveillance and safely apprehended Goncalo upon his arrival at the address. Officers then executed the search warrant without incident.
Inside the apartment, detectives located an AK-47 rifle, a large-capacity feeding device, and one round of ammunition in the suspect’s bedroom.
Goncalo was held on $35,000 bail and transferred to Fall River District Court the following morning for arraignment. The investigation is ongoing.
