On Saturday, May 31, 2025, Vermont State Police responded to a report of a family fight on VT Route 30 in the town of Hubbardton, Vermont.
Vermont State Police said, “Through investigation, it was determined that Scott Goetz had caused pain or injury to a family or household member.”
Scott Goetz, 52, of Hubbardton, Vermont, was arrested and charged with 2nd Degree Aggravated Domestic Assault.
Goetz was later issued conditions of release and taken to Marble Valley Regional Correctional Facility and is scheduled to be in court on Monday at Vermont Superior Court, Rutland Criminal Division.
