Worcester Police are investigating a Tuesday night shooting with one person shot in the area of Illinois Street & Gates Street.
Around 8:09 p.m., Tuesday night, Worcester Police responded to the area of Illinois Street & Gates Street for a report of gunshots.
Worcester Police said, “Shortly after the incident, a 21-year-old victim arrived at an area hospital suffering from a graze wound to their head, which is considered non-life-threatening.”
Witnesses reported hearing between 10-12 gunshots.
Worcester Police confirmed that two motor vehicles were damaged from projectiles.
