The Giants made another off-season move signing super champion veteran Quarterback Russel Wilson to a one-year deal worth 21 million.
He was reportedly on the Giants radar last season before signing with Pittsburgh Steelers. Wilson wasn’t the favorite to return to the Steelers as they are heavily pursuing Aaron Rodgers, and the Giant’s also have the number three pick in the NFL draft.
Wilson was 6-6 as a starter with Steelers, including playoff runs. He brings in his veteran experience alongside former number one pick Jamie’s Winston. Wilson didn’t do so well towards the end of the 2024 campaign, perhaps that’s why they signed both Winston and Wilson.
Wilson joins a Giants quarterback room that added and retained Tommy DeVito. Every one of those QBs is on a one-year deal with New York.
