On Tuesday, the Boston Red Sox announced a series of roster changes as part of their preparations for the upcoming season.
Infielder Vaughn Grissom, along with right-handed pitchers Luis Guerrero and Josh Winckowski, were optioned to minor league camp.
Additionally, catchers Nathan Hickey and Mark Kolozsvary were reassigned to minor league camp.
Following these roster moves on Wednesday, the Red Sox now have a total of 46 players remaining in Major League Spring Training camp.
