On February 13, 2025, at approximately 3:44 PM, Troopers from Troop G – Bridgeport were alerted to a road rage incident that happened on Route 15 South in the area of Exit 52.

The incident came to light when the reporting party contacted 911, conveying that he was involved in a confrontation with another male driver, who had brandished a firearm during the altercation.

Upon their arrival, Troopers engaged with the victim, gathering information including the license plate number of the suspect’s vehicle. The victim recounted that the road rage situation escalated after both vehicles had been caught in heavy traffic for nearly 30 minutes. He noted that the suspect’s vehicle, a white Kia, had cut him off in what he perceived as aggressive driving behavior.

Troopers were able to identify the suspect vehicle as a white Kia, traced to Steven Moore, a resident of Bridgeport.

Subsequently, the Troopers made their way to Moore’s residence to seek his account of the incident. During their interaction, Moore admitted to being the driver of the Kia during the confrontation on Route 15.
