Connecticut State Police are investigating a fatal motor vehicle accident that happened early Thursday morning around 6:00 a.m.
A motor vehicle traveling west on Main Street in Somers, Connecticut veered off the eastbound shoulder for an unknown reason then hit a mailbox, and embankment, and some trees before coming to a stop on its roof.
The driver has been identified as Paul Eli Bowler of Stafford Springs, Connecticut, and Connecticut State Police said Bowler was taken to Johnson Memorial Hospital and was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
