Attendees will have the exciting opportunity to experience the grand debut of “The WooCages: Family Fun for All Ages,” which are brand-new twin batting cages designed specifically for WooSox players and visiting hitters located next to the WooSox Team Store on Madison Street. These batting cages promise to add a new dimension of fun to the family-friendly festivities.
As part of this free event, families can engage in a variety of holiday-themed activities. One of the highlights will be the chance to take memorable photos with Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus inside the WooSox Clubhouse, creating cherished moments for attendees of all ages.
Children and their families can also unleash their creativity by designing personalized ornaments, while also indulging in the traditional pastime of decorating—and tasting!—delicious cookies.
The atmosphere will be lively with a dance party led by the beloved Central MASScots characters: Smiley Ball, Woofster the WonderDog, Roberto the Rocket, and Clara, who represents the Heart of the Commonwealth.
For those looking to secure their spot for the upcoming WooSox ’25 season, this event also offers fans an exclusive opportunity to access tickets first through the “Pick ’Em Plan.” This can be conveniently completed online at woosox.com, or by visiting a Ticket Sales representative on-site during “Winter Wonderland.”
Fans also have the chance to maximize their savings: purchasing two games provides a 10 percent discount, five games a 20 percent discount, and seven games yields a 30 percent discount. Fans who also commit to buying 10 or more games will be rewarded with an extraordinary experience, enjoying batting practice on the field during the 2025 season.
The WooCages themselves are an impressive 33’ x 85’ training facility that will soon be available for rental, making it an ideal venue for birthday parties, holiday celebrations, and corporate gatherings.
The WooCages also offer an excellent practice environment for WooSox fans, as well as collegiate and high school athletes, travel ball teams, and private instructors looking to hone their batting and fielding skills.
