On Monday in Danbury, Connecticut, Judge Charles M. Stango sentenced Jacques Carter, age 29 of Danbury, to 28 years in prison, execution suspended after 15 years, followed by 25 years of probation.
On November 7, 2023 a jury found Carter guilty on five counts of Sexual Assault in the First Degree, three counts of Risk of Injury to a Child, one count of Sexual Assault in the Fourth Degree and one count of Risk of Injury to a Child.
Over a two-year period, Santiago sexually assaulted a child who was between the ages of 4 and 7 years old.
