The Massachusetts Pirates went head-to-head against the Iowa Barnstormers in an intense game held at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, IA. Unfortunately, the Pirates fell short, losing with a final score of 34-42.
Alejandro Bennifield was the star of the game, finishing the night with an impressive two rushing touchdowns and two passing touchdowns. Meanwhile, Jimmie Robinson contributed to the team’s score by securing one rushing touchdown. Additionally, Thomas Owens and Teo Redding both made valuable contributions to the team’s efforts by recording one receiving touchdown each.
On the defensive side of the ball, Matt Elam proved to be a valuable asset, delivering an impressive nine tackles. Calvin Bundage and Guy Thomas also performed well, both recording five tackles during the game. These defensive efforts helped to keep the Pirates in the game, despite ultimately falling short in the end.
