On Thursday, March 14, 2024 at Hingham District Court, Cory B Alvarez appeared before Judge Bradley Heather for aggravated rape of a child – ten years age difference. 

Alvarez was ordered committed without bail to the Plymouth County House of Correction pending a dangerousness hearing on March 22.

On Wednesday night at the Comfort Inn on Hingham.Street in Rockland, Alvarez, 26, from Haiti allegedly sexually assaulted a disabled 15-year-old girl in his room. The victim allegedly told Alvarez to leave her alone but he didn’t stop.

Both Alvarez and the victim are staying in an emergency migrant shelter at the hotel.
