On Monday the Red Sox beat the Pittsburgh Pirates at JetBlue Park, 1-0 and are the owners of three straight wins.
Cooper Criswell started for the Sox and went 3.2 scoreless innings allowing 2 hits, and struckout 4. Criswell was followed by Joe Jacques who went 1.1 innings and only allowed two hits. Chase Shugart, Cam Booser, Jorge Benitez, and Lucas Luetge each tossed one inning. Shugart allowed only one hit, and Benitez struckout three.
Nick Sogard hit an RBI groundout in the 7th inning to score the winning run.
