What an amazing Saturday for the Red Sox! They had a split-squad day down in Florida, and they won both games, securing two impressive victories.
First, they beat the Nationals at JetBlue Park with a final score of 4-2. Brayan Bello started the game and showed exceptional skills, going three innings without allowing any hits and grabbing two strikeouts. Meanwhile, Rafael Devers was on fire, hitting 2-for-3, including an RBI double that drove the crowd wild!
But that was just the beginning. In Port Charlotte, the Red Sox faced off against the Tampa Bay Rays and Nick Pivetta and set the tone with two scoreless, hitless innings, grabbing just one strikeout Rob Refsnyder and Joe Dunand both hit homers sealing the deal and securing the Red Sox’s victory with a final score of 3-2.
