The East and West met in the 2024 NBA All-Star Game at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, IN Sunday night.
As it had been throughout the entire weekend, it was Milwaukee Bucks Damian Lillard who took over the game between the best of each conference, scoring 39 points en route to a 211-186 win for the East over the West. His performance earned him the 2024 Kobe Bryant NBA All-Star Game MVP Award.
Lilliard also ousted Minnesota Timberwolves star Karl Anthony Towns in the 3-Point Contest on Saturday night. He became just the second player to win awards on both nights of NBA All-Star Weekend, joining Michael Jordan, who was first to accomplish the feat back in 1988.
Boston Celtics own Jaylen Brown scored 36 points for the East, and hometown player from the Indiana Pacers, Tyrese Haliburton, scored 32 points.
Anthony-Towns scored a game-high 50 points in just 28 minutes for the West, and Oklahoma City Thunder’s Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 31 points.
The NBA will resume its regular season on Thursday, Feb. 22.
