Friday night just around 6:00 p.m., Boston Fire Department responded to a structural fire at 14 Dorr Street in Roxbury. 

14 Dorr Street is a 3 family occupied building. Boston Fire Department said, “The fire was on floors 2 and 3 and traveled into the attic. Major damage to the rear porches.”

Boston Fire Deputy Chief Michael Doherty confirmed the two alarm fire and that one Firefighter had to be taken to by Boston EMS to an area hospital.

Seven residents of 14 Dorr Street have been displaced and are receiving assistance from the Red Cross.

Deputy Dohertyalso confirmed that cause of the fire is being investigated by Boston Fire FIU.
