Yale Bests Brown 80-70

Yale’s men’s basketball team was in Providence, RI to take on Brown at the Pizzitola Sports Center on Tuesday night. The Bulldogs were looking for their 10th win of the season.

The Bulldogs got off to a 12-0 to start the game and never let up in this one. Danny Wolf and Bez Mbeng scored 16 points in the victory for Yale. The three other starters, Nick Townsend, John Poulakidas and August Mahoney all scored 11 points.

Yale shot 51.7 percent (31-60) from the field and 29.4 percent (5-17) from three. They also out-rebounded Brown 34-31.

The Bulldogs will head back home for their second Ivy League game of the season against Columbia on Monday. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. ET.
