Celtics Own 6 Straight Wins With 102-100 Win Against Memphis

The Celtics were at FedExForum in Memphis, Tennessee Sunday night for their first of two meetings this season with the Memphis Grizzlies, and with their 102-100 win, they are tge owners of six straight wins and are now 11-2 to start the season. 

Kristaps Porzingis finished the night with 26 points, two offensive rebounds, four defensive rebounds, and four helpers. Porzingis has scored 20+ points in three of the C’s last five games, and tonight was his second game this season with 25+ points. 

Jayson Tatum poured in 20 points in Sunday nights win. Tatum had two offensive rebounds, seven defensive rebounds, five helpers, one steal, and one block. 

Sam Hauser off the bench played 22 minutes and had 15 points on the board. Hauser finished the night with four defensive rebounds and two thefts to register eight thefts on the season. He also has eight 10+ games and three games with 15 or more points. 

Jaylen Brown added 12 points to the C’s win. He had six defensive rebounds, three assists, two thefts, and two helpers. Brown has recorded at least one block in five games and at least one theft in six games.

Up next for the Celtics is a trip to the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, on Monday night for their first of three meetings this season with the Charlotte Hornets.
