On Wednesday at 5:20 PM, Troopers with the Rhode Island State Police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Route 102 in the Town of Exeter.
Phillip Thomas, 51, of 41 Yorktown Road, North Kingstown, Rhode Island was arrested and Driving Under the Influence of Liquor and/or Drugs 1st Offense- B.A.C. Unknown, Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test, Simple Assault, Resisting Arrest, Disorderly Conduct, Obstructing Officer in Execution of Duty, and Vandalism.
Thomas was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed, and held for morning arraignment as a violator.
