As the University of Bridgeport men’s basketball team enters their second season in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference’s North Division they have been slotted at number six in the CACC’s North Division in this year’s preseason CACC coaches’ poll, released on Tuesday.
In their inaugural season in the CACC, the Purple Knights finished 10-17 overall and 6-12 in conference play.
UB opens their 2023-24 season at home on November 11th with second-year coach Kranthi “Krunch” Senadhi and will host the University of the District of Columbia Firebirds.
Their first conference test for the Purple Knights will be on November 29 when they dance with the Mustangs at Dominican University in Orangeburg, N.Y.
