The New England Patriots are coming off the two worst losses in the Bill Belichick coaching era. After losing 38-3 on the road in Dallas, the Patriots lost last week 34-0 to the New Orleans Saints.
The Patriots have struggled this season starting the season off 1-4 which is last in the division and are one of only two teams in the AFC with one win through five weeks.
During the month of October the Patriots have only scored three points. For reference the Boston Red Sox six runs in their last game of their regular season on October 1, meaning the Red Soxs have outscored the Patriots so far in October.
To make matters worse New England returns to Allegiant Stadium to take on the Las Vegas Raiders where last year they lost on the last play of the game with a confusing lateral by Jakobi Myers. Myers is now a Raider and will be facing his old team for the first time.
Coach Belichick is in a must win hoping to get New England their second win of the season which for him personally would be his 300th career coaching win.
Coach Belichick will have to do that very short handed, the Patriots going into Sunday will have seven players ruled out and 10 players ruled questionable.
New England will be kicking off against the Raiders at 4:05 PM EST.
