Boston Celtics Land Jrue Holiday

Just days after the Damian Lillard trade broke the internet with the Milwuakee Bucks sipping off Jrue Holiday to Portland, The Boston Celtics have made another splash trading for the all-star guard.

Jrue Holiday after being shipped to Portland now travels to Boston. Boston sends Malcolm Brogdon, Robert Williams, and two first round picks to the Trail Blazers.

Robert Williams leaves Boston after being a Celtics for five years. The 27th pick from the 2018 draft Williams will now play for another team not named the Boston Celtics for the first time in his career.

Malcolm Brogdon leaves Boston after playing one season, winning sixth man of the year. Brogdon will now join his fourth team after playing for the Milwaukee Bucks, Indiana Pacers, and Boston Celtics.

Jrue Holiday comes to Boston off of an All-Star appearance in his 14th season and his third season in Milwaukee. Holiday, like Brogdon, joins his fourth NBA team. Holiday going into his 15th season has spent four season with the Philadelphia 76ers, seven seasons with the New Orleans Pelicans, and three seasons with the Milwaukee Bucks.
